Hi there! It's been a while! We just want to
say we're still alive and that we're getting ready a new album which will be our 5th studio album. Our plan is to record sometime soon and hopefully be out at the begginings of next year 2008. 2008 is also our 10th anniversary, so it's going to be a celebration year!
Besides the new album, we have 2 great shows coming out as support of NOFX. Check out the dates.
We'll keep you posted soon. All the best from southspain.

Hello boys and girls! what's up? It's being a hot hot summer (hfo said) here, and we have a bunch of things to come up.
Firt of all we're recording an acoustic record! A couple of them will go for a compilation named "gasoline rainbow" where we're including our own acoustic cover of the velvet underground's "all tomorrow's parties" and an acoustic version of our very own "kids in my town", wicked!
Apart from that, we're going to record another acoustic cover of an old punk band from montreal named the nils, that are one of our greatest influences in these days. The song's tile is "young man in transit", please check that band out if you dig into bands like hüsker dü or the replacements, they are awesome!!!
Besides, we've been invited to participate in a SUGAR tribute and we've chosen "the act we act" from the terrific album "copper blue". Fuck yeah that's a cover summer!
About shows... we're going to a few nice places in august:

Cádiz (our half-homeland)
Tenerife (one of the best places on earth)
Madrid (to play with one of our favourite bands, the weakerthans)

The shows previewed for Castellón and Ubeda will be postponed for next fall due to personal reasons, so dates will be confirmed soon!

Dani is very likely to be doing some acoustic performances of some G.a.s. drummers songs in Canada in september, and the dates will be confirmed as soon as they come.

Ok friends, that's all by now, have a very good summer!

So a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who's helped us out on the road in this first leg of the "Standards Down" tour. We will be back in July in Germany, we have some things to re-estructure to come back cleaner, smarter and stronger. Love from the south of Spain.

Hello everyone! As from today you can buy "Standards Down" in your local music store. Today is the official release date for our fourth album which in Spain is released by Bcore and Distributed by El Diablo. And in France it will be from the 3rd of February and distributed by Overcome Distribution.
To celebrate this release you can now watch the "back to decadence" brand new video at the media section in our website.
Also, you'll be able to see throughout the next few weeks interviews, reviews etc... about this new album in a handful of different media.
In the next Rockzone Magazine (The spanish Rocksound) there will be an interview as well as being able to hear one of the songs in their sampler CD. On the other hand, MTV Spain has started airing the music video for "Back To Decadence". In Radio3, specifically in the show Bulevar (from noon 'til one) you'll also hear some of these new songs, as they already started a couple of weeks back. Apart from this, you'll get more news, like the band's appearance on the new national tv show iPop, where we should appear sometime in the beginning of March.
Regarding our shows, the official presentation tour starts the next 17th of February in Barcelona, at Sidecar, and will move up into France, Germany, and Netherlands. And once back in Spain we will start playing many cities until the end of the summer. At the tourdates section on the right you can check the first confirmed dates.

We hope you all enjoy the new album. See you soon!.
We'll keep informing you.

The Back to decadence video is online for all those who want to see what it looks like just go to the media section and you will find it on the right column.
Also for those of you who want to listen to some G.a.s. Drummers on national radio it's as simple as tuning the RADIO3 station on your radio from monday to friday between 12:00h-13:00h where they are currently airing some of Standards Down's songs. The radio program is called Boulevard and they will be playing some of the band's latest music for the next couple of weeks.

So what's up! Finally we've arranged everything to make it possible to update this website more often. What's happening on our side... This week has been frantic, i'm not used to answering so many interviews by phone, email or whatever, I guess that means the press is happy with the new album, so hurray for us! The rest of mortals that haven't got it yet will have to wait till january 24th, that's when it is officially released in shops in Spain. We've spent our hollidays touring the north of Spain, gorgeus as always, friendly and lovely people. We've also recorded a new song named "Port of Tangir" and a couple of covers. Lets see if someone wants to release a 7inch or something. So, as promised, we will be updating this more frequently, I wish you the best for this new year, you boys and girls.
Love,

Dani

Mon Dec 5th, 2005

The day has come!

"Standards Down" is here. Our new album has been the most difficult one to give birth to. We know it's hard to stay together after almost 8 years and we almost can not believe we've made 4 records so far. It's been so tough to make it without Pakomoto, but finally it's here. It's here with an evolution within, with a further step and with a noticed loss of complex and prejudices. Why this? Because to deny it would be to deny ourselves.

Paco Loco is behind the desk once more, he's way more responsible for the new sound as he's been the fifth member in this whole story. The 14 songs on it make us proud of the work done these last 2 years. Bcore is releasing it in Spain. The album will be available through mail-order from today. We'll sell it at shows too. But it won't be available in the record stores of the whole country until January 26th (fuck Christmas and their cheese campaigns). We're talking to some labels to release it in foreign countries, as soon as we have any deal we'll let you know. We have a lot of gigs in the upcoming months. First, as always we'll tour in Spain, then we'll go to Europe and hopefully we'd love to make it overseas in late 2006.

As you can see, we've got a brand new website due to the enormous work from the Amperland guys and the Emotive project. Now we have a webmaster who will keep it updated for all of those who during the years have identified our website with the sentence "coming soon". The news and tourdates sections will be easily and often updated by the band using a php module. If you people have any footage or pictures of us please send them over to our webmaster, if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to email him at:

gasdrummers@amperland.com

You can still check the songs in our MySpace and Purevolume sites. The community is growing bigger and it's cool to be connected to those fools around.

That's all for today, talk soon.

Love

G.A.S. Drummers
